SnapINverter

The innovative hinged system design of this inverter provides the user with an easy installation and maintenance process. The connection and power compartments are installed separately, with the connection compartment and cables mounted on the wall first, followed by the power compartment. This means that the entire inverter does not have to be dismantled during maintenance work on the device; Only the power compartment has to be removed, cables, settings and configurations remain in place.

Integrated WLAN interface

Fronius has integrated simple data monitoring into this inverter with WLAN interface. The inverter connects wirelessly and allows the user to monitor the performance of the solar PV system via the Fronius SolarWeb with an Internet-enabled device.

Open data communication

Fronius has ensured that its inverters can be easily connected to third-party communication platforms. The open standard protocol Modbus TCP SunSpec provides an easy way to establish a data connection to other systems. This is achieved by using the existing Ethernet interface, which enables reliable communication.

Ready for smart grids

Fronius has future-proofed its technology and equipped its inverters for the smart grid of the future. Advanced grid features are built into these inverters  , including control functions for the optimal feed-in of reactive/active power.
