The Growatt ARK battery system has a modular structure. Additional batteries can be stacked on top of each other. The ARK-2.5H-A1 is suitable for high-voltage systems. The lithium-iron phosphate battery (LFP) is free of cobalt, which leads, for example, to a cheaper battery. The battery has a lifespan of over 6000 cycles.

The battery has a type of protection of IP65 and can be attached to the wall and placed on the floor. A separate socket is required for the line -up on the floor. The battery is 65 cm wide, 26 cm deep, 18 cm high and weighs 30 kg.

Some advantages of this type of lithium iron-phosphate batteries compared to lead-acid and other batteries are a longer lifespan, little to no maintenance, extremely safe, relatively light and improved charging and unloading efficiency.
